Andrey Matyukhin
In the orchestra since 2023
Andrey Matyukhin graduated from the Gnessin Moscow State Misical School (College) in 2021 and entered the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, the class of the Honoured Artist of Russia, Associate Professor O.V. Tomilova. Since 2018 he has been a soloist of the St. Petersburg Music House, since 2022 — a soloist of the State Academic Symphony Capella of Russia. In 2023 he became an artist of the musicAeterna Orchestra.
Andrey Matyukhin is the laureate of All-Russian and international competitions. He is the holder of a personal Yuri Usov scholarship granted by the Government of the Kaluga region in the field of musical art. He is a fellow of the Spivakov International Charitable Foundation (2017).
He has taken part in master classes of leading oboists both in Russia and across the globe, namely Alexey Ogrinchuk, Domenico Orlando, Alexey Utkin, Maria Surnacheva, José Antonio Masmano, Dmitry Bulgakov, Lorenzo Masala.
He maintains an active concert career as a soloist and an orchestra member. He has collaborated with such collectives and institutions as the Russian National Orchestra, the Mikhailovsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra, the Scriabin Festival Orchestra, Questa Musica Ensemble, Persimfans, Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theatre, Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Centre, Tula Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Sochi Symphony Orchestra, Kaluga Symphony Orchestra, Lipetsk Symphony Orchestra, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Chamber Orchestra, Russian Music Academy Orchestra, All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra.
He is the creator and Artistic Director of the Chamber Music Festival “Metamorphoses of Wind Instruments”.
