musicAeterna Αθεατρον
MusicAeterna ΑθΕατρον (Afeatron) is a theatrical programme that involves both educational events and artistic practices, from lectures and master classes to full-scale productions, with the participation of modern directors, playwrights, artists and composers.
In 2023, the first premiere within the programme was the musical and dramatic phantasmagoria Dom 2/27 – a stage production about Dom Radio. In 2024, as part of ΑθΕατρον programme, the premiere of Dom Radio special project The Evening Assembly of Marina Tsvetaeva took place, in which a one-woman performance of the actress Yanina Lakoba stitches new songs based on the poet’s works into a single narrative. The new compositions were written especially for musicAeterna soloists, Choir and Orchestra by the resident composers of Dom Radio – Andreas Moustoukis, Alexey Sioumak, Egor Ananko, Victoria Kharkevich, and Alexey Retinsky, as well as Kirill Arkhipov, Vangelino Currentzis, and Teodor Currentzis.
