Ekaterina Shikunova

In the choir since 2026

Ekaterina Shikunova was born in Leningrad into a family of musicians. She graduated from the Secondary Special Music School of the St Petersburg State Conservatory in 2004 and the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in 2009.

From 2010 to 2024, she worked as a soloist of the Rozhdestvo ensemble under the direction of Honoured Artist of Russia Olga Stupneva (the ensemble of the Petersburg-Concert company). She collaborated with the St Petersburg State Classical Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Honoured Artist of Russia Alexander Kantorov and the St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra under the direction of People’s Artist of Russia Sergei Stadler.

As a soloist, she has performed in works of the cantata and oratorio genre, opera performances, and chamber vocal programmes.
