The concert programme encompasses six centuries of Western European and Russian music for a capella choir – from Spanish, Flemish, and Italian compositions of the 16th century to the works written already in the 21st century. Immediately after the concert and a short break Vitaly Polonsky and the artists of the choir will speak to the audience about what links together opuses so different in time of creation and style, what has determined the choice of compositions, what meanings they carry and what performing skills they require.
