Greek and Byzantine church music performed in a traditional manner plays an important role in the Lux Aeterna concert programme. Lebanese singer Ribale Wehbé, a guest soloist of musicAeterna specializing in Byzantine chants, will conduct a master class for the students of specialized faculties of Moscow higher music schools, in which she will talk about the Arab influence in Byzantine music and demonstrate vocal techniques necessary for the performance of its unique melismatics. The master class is open to public.
The second musicAeterna’s artistic residency in Moscow is timed to coincide with two musicAeterna concerts on September 26 and 27.
As part of the third artistic residency, two major vocal and symphonic concerts are framed by seven events for different audiences: master classes for professionals, creative workshops for all visitors, poetry readings and a tactile rehearsal for the wards of the Deafblind Support Foundation.
