The central theme of the almanac is the concept of intimacy — the process of its creation and destruction — and the experience of connecting with the Other as a means of self-knowledge. The Lover is not a specific character, but a state, a way of transformation, an attempt to transcend one’s own boundaries. Each performance of the almanac will be an episode of reflection on a given topic.
