On December 8 and 9, 2024, the music and art of early Romanticism come together at the Hermitage. Two concerts by the orchestra and choir artists of musicAeterna will take place in the Field Marshal’s Hall of the Winter Palace. Their program serves as a musical commentary on the new large-scale exhibition “Landscape of the Soul: Caspar David Friedrich and Russia,” marking the 250th anniversary of the artist. Attendees can visit this exhibition in the Nicholas Hall of the Winter Palace before or after the concert.
