Program
The laboratory focuses on techniques for creating reverberation algorithms using recursion principles. As part of the workshop, Ali Rustamov – a programmer, a sound designer and a violinist -explores methods for creating reverberation effects: modal reverberation, FDN, and Shredder reverberation. The major part of the participants’ work is to take place in the SuperCollider software environment: the basics of the SuperCollider programming language for sound processing will also be looked at in the workshop.
Ali Rustamov works at the intersection of Natural Sciences and Humanities in such fields as digital signal processing, programming, cross-modal communication, architectural acoustics, psychoacoustics, musical acoustics, and sound design.
