Alexey Nikiforov

By 2015, he completed the core course and postgraduate studies at the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (the class of Boris Taburetkin). He is the winner of international competitions, including Evgeny Mravinsky International Youth Competition (St. Petersburg, 2006), Rimsky-Korsakov International Wind Instrument Competition (St. Petersburg, 2008), and Timofei Dokshizer International Brass Instrument Competition (Moscow, 2009).
From 2006 to 2013 he worked as a soloist of the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella Symphony Orchestra. From 2013 to 2019 he was the soloist-regulator of the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra. From 2019 to 2024 he has been the soloist-regulator of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
