Details
The seventh meeting within the framework of the philosophical educational programme “Paideia” will be held in the format of a discussion between the audience and the lecturer Andrey Muravyev and the programme’s curator Igor Dmitrov.
The following issues are to be discussed:
— whether there is a difference between arbitrariness and will, between will and freedom;
— what the relationship between law as such and human rights is; whether there is a contradiction between them; if such a contradiction exists, what this contradiction expresses.
As a material for discussing these issues, the organizers suggest using Georg Hegel’s works “The Philosophical Propaedeutic” and “The Philosophy of Right”.
“Paideia” is a new curriculum in musicAeterna educational programme at Dom Radio which involves lectures and discussions on the key problems of the world’s philosophy.
