Five projects selected by the Dom Radio curatorial team represent different approaches to the creation of electronic music, different modalities and matters.
Piper Spray and Lena Tsibizova, a duo of a composer and a media artist from Moscow, play music that they themselves characterise as romantic noise. Geklaper is a project from St. Petersburg that creates experimental electronics with a unified atmosphere, combining overlapping sound layers and genres. 光淵 (Pool Of Light) is a psychedelic drone project by Anton Bogdanov, a musician from Siberia who worked in China and then moved to St. Petersburg. Lilisλt is ambient and drone music from Rostov-on-Don, created by the artist Vasilisa Lesnaya with the help of analog instruments and field recordings. Symphocat is an electronic music composer, media artist, curator, founder of the Symphonic Silence Inside (SSI) label, with which he has been publishing experimental electronics and modern ambient for more than fifteen years.
