Details
Violinist and composer Ivan Naborshchikov and pianist Konstantin Khachikian present a chamber programme of three well-known sonatas for violin and piano by César Franck, Maurice Ravel, and George Enescu.
Each of the compositions on the programme is a bright, fascinating, and completely independent musical plot. However, performed together, these sonatas add up to a common story, a narrative about how the French Romantic Violin School was recast and echoed in the music of the early 20th century.
