Program
The idea of the concert “The City as Sound” originated with the resident of Dom Radio, composer Alexey Retinsky. The project is aimed at finding and uniting the most different and unconventional street musicians of St. Petersburg, at providing a cross-section of the city sound field, while at the same time turning Dom Radio into a street space open to everyone.
The project participants were selected by open call. The concert is not a gala with a set of “numbers”, but rather a single score in which the order of performances has its own dramaturgy, and the electronic sound created by Alexey Retinsky connects all the parts of this “symphony”.
