The Dutch choreographer Nanine Linning explores new forms of embodying the Gesamtkunstwerk concept, combining music, theatre, contemporary art, and dance in her work. In a creative dialogue with Nanine, participants of the workshop (professional dancers or dance school students) will search for new means of expression in contemporary dance with Adagietto from Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 5.
The workshop starts at 11 a.m. and lasts 3 hours. The number of participants is 15-20 persons. Nanine Linning is looking for dancers between 18 and 32 years old, interested in a multidisciplinary work approach. Exceptional performative skills, a combination of ballet technique with contemporary dance training, and stage experience are essential for participation in the workshop.
