How did Russian composers write music before and after Impressionism? Who did they inspire and who did they get inspired by? What parallels could be found in pictorial art and music? These and many other issues will be discussed at a panel session in the Italian Courtyard by musicologists and art historians as part of the project The Music Dimension, which is dedicated to the exhibition «After Impressionism. Russian Painting in Dialogue with New Western Art» in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
