Program

As part of the new project — Professorial Readings — once a month we invite professors of St. Petersburg universities to the library and audio-record library at Dom Radio in order to find out about the fiction or popular science book they keep on their table. What was its attraction? What was interesting about it? What way was it inspiring?

On March 2, the guest of the Professorial Readings project will be Andrey Gurtovenko, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, leading research fellow at the Institute of High Molecular Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of the Faculty of Physics of St. Petersburg State University. His research interests include computer modelling of biomolecular and polymer systems.

Andrey Gurtovenko will discuss with the participants of the meeting his go-to book – the fantastic dystopia by the Nobel laureate Kazuo Ishiguro “Klara and the Sun” (2021, translated into Russian by L. Motylyov).
