Footage from the films of Igor Aleynikov, who co-founded “parallel cinema” with his brother Gleb, will be combined with music by the composer Kirill Shirokov performed by the author.
On the screen are Aleinikov’s films “Verkhnyaya tochka”, “Attraktsion”, and “Filatelist”, shot at the turn of “stagnation” and “perestroika”, imbued with the spirit of Brezhnev’s stability and arms race.
This is the second screening of the film performance; the first was held in summer 2019 at the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre in Moscow.
