Film Melissa Dullius and Gustavo Jahn’s Muito Romântico, the story of a young couple’s journey from Brazil to Germany, from a familiar environment to a synthetic cinematic reality.
They quickly find a home in Berlin and make it the centre of their personal universe, where cinema and life are so intertwined and friends who visit them are so good at playing their parts that the link with reality becomes slimmer and slimmer.
“It is a film that combines a punk sensibility with calculated risk-taking, consolidating the pair’s affinity for celluloid, as well as their ability to breathe life into the archive.”
