In collaboration with Gosfilmofond of Russia, Dom Radio is launching the programme “Silence of Cinema” — a series of rare silent films screenings accompanied by the music of modern composers and experimental tracks. The programme will open with the 1930 film “Menschen am Sonntag” by Robert Siodmak and Edgar Georg Ulmer (Czech rental copy).
Sound arrays prepared by kraaa will accompany the screening, entering into a dialogue with what is happening in the video and generating new associations and meanings.
