As part of the Modern Audience Laboratory, musicAeterna resident composer Andreas Moustoukis will host a meeting at Dom Radio dedicated to the contemporary music of his native Cyprus. On the programme: a screening of the documentary film by Andreas Moustoukis “Under the Iron Note” (2013) and a lecture followed by Q&A session to extend the theme of the moving picture. Andreas Moustoukis will talk about the leading composers of Cyprus who have achieved broad publicity and work all over the world, and will demonstrate their music scores along with playing fragments of their compositions.
The leading characters of both the film and the lecture are Vassos Nikolaou, Evis Sammoutis, Tasos Stylianou, Haris Sophocleus, and others.
