The new chamber programme will be presented at Dom Radio on March 19 and 20. On the one hand, it is related to the February symphony concerts, where Ravel’s Le tombeau de Couperin was performed, on the other, it reveals completely new creative perspectives for musicAeterna’s collective.
On this evening, Le tombeau de Couperin will be played in its original piano version, surrounded by music by Francois Couperin himself and his famous predecessors, Pierre Guedron and Maren Marais. The musicians will not only demonstrate their versatility, moving from modern instruments to the ancient violone, harpsichord, and viola da gamba, but also play a part in a choreographic performance, revealing the dialogue of traditions and cultures through light, sound, and body movement in the unique space of Dom Radio.
The soloists: Valeria Korkka (lute), Carlos Navarro (violone), Ekaterina Byazrova (harpsichord), Vladislav Pesin (violin), Alexander Prozorov (viola da gamba), and Nikolay Mazhara (piano).
