The chamber concert by the musicAeterna orchestra soloists is dedicated to two romantics at a crossroads. Richard Strauss’s Piano Quartet is his last composition in the traditional spirit. The String Quartet by Edvard Grieg was written during a period of stylistic searches and mental anxieties, it is based on the theme of a romance about the choice between creativity and personal happiness.
