Soloists of the musicAeterna orchestra perform chamber music of several centuries.

Mozart’s Sonata for Bassoon and Cello in B-flat Major will open the concert programme, and his Quartet in D Major will be performed in an arrangement for bassoon by Martin Rechtman.

The programme also includes the famous Forêts paisibles from Les Indes galantes by Jean-Philippe Rameau, a fine example of baroque music, and Allegro Prestissimo from the classical Sonata for Two Cellos No.4 by Jean-Baptiste Barrière.

Francis Poulenc’s Trio for Oboe, Bassoon and Piano ends the programme with the 20th century turning to the past in a rare combination of instrumental voices.
